The location was fairly good. Walking distance to the Tennoji Station. Room size was fairly big and authentic Japanese style. The fact that they had an outdoor foot bath which was good fun.

Everything was amazing. The staff is the most friendly and warm staff I have ever met. They treat you with utmost respect and they are so welcoming!! The place itself is very cozy, and exceptionally clean. The stuff itself has a lot of people that speak Spanish English and other languages because most of them have been abroad or overseas. Every bed has its own electric socket, they are very comfortable, the curtains provide complete privacy and you have space to leave your staff and your luggage well accommodate. The entire hostel has air conditioning that keeps the entire place in a perfect temperature, at the same time when it's cold it keeps it very warm. And one time someone from the staff asked me if temperature was okay for us or if they should change it. It is also very safe because every bedroom's door requires a password that changes and is given to you every 4 or 5 days in your mailbox The kitchen provides everything you need for you to cook or store any food or beverage you have. Also you can find some gacha pon machines and vending machines where you can buy things to drink. I had to work with my computer while I was there and I had no problems. Everywhere you sit you have sockets and USB ports to charge all your devices. The common area is very quiet but at the same time you can have a nice time talking with every guest there. You can have a drink or you can have a laugh and great conversations in the tatami section or in the tables. If it's raining they lend you umbrellas for free. If you require, for any reason, you can leave your luggage in the staff room for the day and they will be very understanding if you have any problems, and they will answer to you and help you every time they can. They have a smoking area available for you 24 hours. Every room has its own bathroom and has its own shower, and it has available showers outside of the bedroom as well.

Great stay at this hotel! The room and bathroom were very spacious by Japanese standards, and the tatami had a lovely, fresh scent. The location was great, just 10 minutes from Tennoji Station, which connects to several major lines that make getting around Osaka easy. The staff was super helpful and even provided a plug adapter for free, which was a nice touch. It was also really convenient to be able to pay the property tax right at the property using my ICOCA card. Overall, a really enjoyable and comfortable stay!

The location is superb. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, which is a rarity in hostels, allowing you ample space to pack and unpack your luggage. One of the standout features for me was the dedicated workspace/areas in the lobby. As someone who works while traveling, having a quiet and well-equipped area to focus was a big plus. The hostel also has a big kitchen, provides free coffee and tea, and has a laundry room. I'd highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a blend of comfort, convenience, and affordability.

I was hesitant at first booking this property because in the map, it seemed a bit far from Namba but truly, you will not regret it! I initially stayed in Namba at another hostel but as much as everything is close to you, it was a bit overwhelming. I love how this location is 9 minutes away from the train station, there is this huge mall “abeno harukas” and there is plenty to do! I loved this hostel so much and due to its affordability, I extended my stay not once but twice!!! I plan to spend my final week at this hostel in 2 months when I return back to Osaka before I leave back to my country. It’s clean, spacious and I love the open kitchen to use.

The stay at COGO TENNOJI was absolutely amazing! It was only 10 min. walk from JR Tennoji Station. The staff were polite & friendly. I stayed at Female Only dormitory. Each bed was spacious with a curtain. You can charge your phone and use Wi-Fi. There is a shower room and two toilets in the dorm. There's another shower room in the hallway. There is a kichen, a few washing machine, and study section. If you want to take a walk outside, there's a park called "Tenshiba," where you can also enjoy lunch and dinner in fancy cafes. This property had everything but a full-body mirror. lol I'd like to come back and enjoy sightseeing in Osaka.

The facility is close to the Tennoji station and quite in the centre of Osaka, and a tasty bakery is just across the street. The lobby is big and very comfortable for working, chilling, chatting... I really enjoyed the foot bath. You can sit outside divided just with a fence from the city noise with your feet in the hot bath, but nobody from outside can see you. You have your space in the room for all your things, your own locker. Beds are spacey and comfortable. There is a free coffee and tea you can have every morning.

This was our first stop in Tokyo, and COGO Tennoji was great. Very close to the train station, food options were close by including 7eleven. Was able to walk to local shrines, Osaka Castle (this was a long walk but one we enjoyed), Dotonbori (also a long walk but again we loved it). The communal kitchen had everything that you needed, and shared washer and dryer were handy as well. The staff at the front desk were always smiling and happy to talk or help out

Cogo Tennoji is just a 6-minute (400m) walk from the North Exit of Tennoji Station. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The staff can speak English and check in was quick and easy. The lobby is spacious, with a common room, dining area, and an area where people can work quietly. It also has 2 elevators, a kitchen, 3 dryers and 3 washing machines (laundry soap can be bought at the reception for 50 yen, but will not accept cash), drinks vending machine, and some gacha machines. The room was very spacious (it looks like it used to be a 12-bed dorm room that was converted into a 4-bed private room). Each bed has two hangers, two hooks, a night light (adjustable brightness), and power outlets (3 regular outlets and 2 usb). The room also has its own sitting area, toilets (2), sinks (2), and a shower room with a sink. Hair dryer is provided. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner are also provided. Along the hallway of the room is a shoe rack with slippers.

Was one of my favourite hostels in Japan by far. By considering its price, the quality of staying was incredible. All facilities are brand new and common areas were exceptionally clean. I stayed in a dormitory room, and it has its own toilet and shower facilities inside. Bed was really comfy and of course has its own lights and outlets nearby. Location is pretty convenient as it is located pretty close to Tennoji station. Kitchen has some stoves, basic utensils and offers free tea and coffee thus a nice bonus. Staff are all helpful and friendly as well. Would like to recommend a lot if you visit Osaka.
